The Updater (UPDSHL10.EXE) is an agent that is based on the DDE
(Dynamic Data Exchange) technology. It acts as a DDE server to wait for a
request from the protected application (the client). To interface with the
Updater, the protected application needs the following system files:
EKC3220.DLL (32-bit) and EKC6420.DLL (64-bit). These system files must be
included with the protected application and placed in the same directory as the
protected program file.
