The end-user utilities for USB License include the Register and Init
Key. These utilities allow the user to handle the license for the protected
application in situations when you deploy the USB License Key (dongle) with advanced
features. For example, the Register utility allows the user to make the USB
dongle and upgrade the license remotely via the License Key (as well as the
Activation Key). The Init Key utility allows the user to initialize and tie the
USB dongle to a specific machine. You do not need these utilities when you
deploy USB License as a standard dongle.
The end-user utilities for USB License requires the ElecKey
system files as same as the protected application. To deploy the end-user
utilities, please ensure that the needed system files are placed in the same
folder as the end-user utilities. See the topic Protecting Windows
