Installing and Uninstalling

Installing

To start the installation, run the SETUP.EXE program from its folder. Then, follow the instructions on your screen.

Uninstalling

To start uninstalling, click the Uninstall UpdateShield icon from the UpdateShield start menu. Then, follow the instructions on your screen.

NOTE: Please remember to deactivate your UpdateShield license before uninstalling UpdateShield. Deactivation allows you to transfer the license to Sciensoft activation server in which you can install and activate your UpdateShield later on any computer. Whereas UpdateShield license is provided with a limited activation count, uninstalling UpdateShield without deactivation will result in losing an activation count.
