The Client Side index file must be named UPDSHLC.XML
(or UPDSHLCP.XML for patch updates). To check for updates, the Updater searches
the Client Side index file in the following order:

The same directory as the Updater

<CommonAppDataFolder>\UpdShl\<UpdaterID> (e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\ApplicationData\UpdShl\01100B0
3FD1305A4B\)
If you want the Online Installer to perform
automatic software update as well, it is recommended that you place the latest
Client Side index file in the folder <CommonAppDataFolder>\UpdShl\<UpdaterID>.
