Roam Database File

The Roam database file (Roam.mdb) stores information about the roaming licenses checked out from the NKLS. The file is optional and needed when the roaming license feature is enabled and deployed. The file location is defined in the NKLS configuration file (NKLS.INI) on the DataDir item, under the [Log] section.

NOTE: When moving the NKLS and Network Key to another server, you must also transfer the Roam database by copying the file to the new server.

NOTE: The NKLS uses a checksum to validate the Roam database file. You should not modify or tamper the file; otherwise, it will be found as invalid.
