The device ID as well as Ethernet adapter signature is used to tie the protected application to a specific mobile device. Therefore, the application is licensed to a specific mobile device only. In other words, Mobile License provides node-locked license on the mobile device. As same as PC License, when the protected application is started for the first time, the Key will automatically be created in the main storage of the mobile device. As software-based protection, the Mobile License solution includes end-user licensing support. Using the KeyCheck .NET CF Component or the native library, you can create the utilities for handling the license on mobile devices. For instance, the Transfer utility allows the user to transfer the license between mobile devices or to/from the Activation Server. The Destroy utility allows the user to remove the license from the mobile device (in case of a refund, etc.). In addition, it also generates the Destroy-Code that you can verify whether or not the user has indeed removed the license.
